Mt. Washington Bank Holds Food Drive
Donations of Non-Perishable Goods Will Be Distributed to Local Food Pantries in Time for Thanksgiving
(South Boston, MA – November 6, 2008) –
“Boston’s Community Bank,” Mt. Washington Bank, today
announced a food drive to benefit several local food pantries.
Mt. Washington Bank is accepting non-perishable goods now through November 20th at its six branch locations in South Boston, Dorchester and Jamaica Plain, and its loan center in South Boston. The collected goods will be distributed to local food pantries in time for their Thanksgiving outreach.
"Each year our employees ask to do this, and Mt. Washington Bank is pleased to respond in support of our local food pantries," said Ed Merritt, president and CEO of Mt. Washington Bank. "We appreciate the donations that our customers, bank staff and our communities are able to make at this time of year."
